The Hell Festival, which is held in a place called Hell near Trondheim, now enjoying an international profile, is reckoned to be one of Europe’s most influential emerging musical events.
Organiser Knut-Morton Johansen says that there is a major synergy between the site and the festival.
“We both see the importance of giving unsigned musicians a chance to shine alongside the greats. This is our chance to put something back – and ensure that the stars of tomorrow get a great grounding.”

amazingtunes.com, which champions unsigned artists from around the World, will be launching a revolutionary online radio station at the end of the month.
Listeners will get the chance to create their own play lists, download programmes and email mates with their favourite music.
Managing Director Simon King said: “There’s nothing quite like it. It will revolutionise radio giving the power of total choice to the listening public.
“We have created a place where music lovers can discover new music and share it with their friends – and musicians can be rightly rewarded for their abilities.”
Artistes earn seventy percent of all download revenues – making amazingtunes.com a haven for many unsigned bands rightly worried about the ‘rip-off’ record industry.
And cutting edge intelligent software technology will get to understand listener’s likes and dislikes and make recommendations of what they might like to listen to.
