Described by the media as a versatile, charismatic and confident singer/songwriter/performer who writes infectious and soulful pop/rock music, his music is edgy, contemporary and exciting. Alex likes to keep the music simplistic and enjoys bouncing from one genre to the next to keep things fresh and original. He is also frontman/lead vocalist and main songwriter of a brand new successful Cambridge band and The Red Stripe Cambridge Band Competition winners of 2006 New Dynamics. Alex says, "I think being an artist, songwriter and producer youve got to keep an open mind and not be influenced by just one genre. Its fun to write and play this way and I do not consider pop to be a dirty word whatsoever. Its about music and enjoying yourself and theres no way i would ever, ever become a musical snob...ask anyone who knows me well- music is there to be messed around with and enjoyed!I love it all!
Influences: Great music with soul, passion and melody.
