Rebrand is Crusoe, Crusoe is Rebrand. 16 years old and part of the Brighton landscape hes been collaborating with friends random and otherwise for the past couple of years to come up with a sound of his own. At home with his trumpet, his decks, and anything else he can lay his hands on his vibe takes inspiration from the music that is everywhere from broken old 78s to samples, downloads, half-remembered riffs, and miscellanea of many sorts. Crusoe as Rebrand believes in the space where live music meets electronic, and yesterday meets tomorrow. Crusoe plays with several bands and DJ's around and about every now and then. To make his debut, Crusoe has composed all the tunes and is grateful for the instrumental input from musicians from Hammond wizard Rikesh Macwana (late of Bad Manners), bass players Harry Bamford, Billy Parker, Ali Cooper & Dave Tribe, guitarist Joe Harley, keyboard Joe Ellis, Flute Adrian Weston, to drummer Tom Beamont and of course Crusoe/Rebrand on Trumpet, Trumpet Mute, percussion, drum kit and keyboards of both sorts. Guest vocalists: Kassia (aka Bunty) and Bella Spinks.

over the past few months i have been working in a new direction, away from directly sampling, and towards a more live instrumental feel with myself playing organ drums and trumpet on most of my tunes and many guest instrumentalists and vocalists such as Rikesh Macwana on organ Solo's and Luke Murray on tenor sax. some of my more recent works are "the Jazzy Letter Jay" "Drop THA Keys" and "It Belongs Inside (feat Kassia)" so for a more accurate representation of my current direction you're probably best off taking a peak at DEM choons...
