"After many years being in a band, enjoying indie label success and a tour of Britain, going to University seemed to put a halt on my music career, until I decided to do this solo project." Started as a solo project in January 2008, Carl Harrison (Benjamins Drone) is quickly making a name for himself. Benjamins Drone was named after his dog Benji, who also makes a weird droning noise whenever the phone rings. In Febuary he recorded two tracks of ambient music which showed promising interest fro Radio 1's Bethan Eflyn and various other dj's for remixing. 2 months later Carl decided to record two acoustic versions of his band's (JKLMNO) songs, "Don't believe your lies" and "Future Potential" and included a remix of the later. His live shows are always kept interesting by being known to use his acoustic guitar as a percussive instrument as well as a melodic tool. He is also known to play un usual covers such as Rhianna, Disney tunes to Drum and Bass! He is on occassions backed up by the phenominal Amie Louise Harris and is currently booked for gigs in Swansea and Wrexham.
