Alien Zoo formed in the summer of 2003 when Sam Joole acquired the keys to a condemned warehouse in a quiet part of Sydney. Two weeks, four police visits and one broken egg chair later 'Zephanom' - the bands first album - was finished. With the help of some nifty animation, the songs from Zephanom were e-mailed from friend to friend around the world, reaching a peak of 100,000 views in one week alone. Now, after a winter of recording in London, Alien Zoo are back in Australia, with the legendary AZ Soundsystem, for a party in the snow until the crowds go back to work.
