Union Jackals

Once upon a Kentonian time the stars shone bright, the moon was full, the wolves were running and a 10lb 8oz Jackal was born. Many unremarkable years passed by eating. A three and a half year old Jackal discovered a machine spinning a piece of black wonder, many moons were spent mesmerised by the sound. How did they make the beautiful music? He searched high up in the northdowns and low in the valleys of Kent yet the answer eluded him. After experimenting with the other animals he decided to find his true calling. The Jackal grew ever more melancholic and drifted away from the pack. On the cusp of adulthood the Jackal's quest led him to a piece of wood with 6 sparkling strings. Many seasons were spent experimenting with this wonderment. The years ahead delivered both elation and desperation but this only strengthened the Jackal's resolve. He searched the Indie, travelled through Pop via the Country where he came across some Punk. A bright star shone over London town and beckoned our furry friend away. Afraid of becoming a machine he began to dream.................

Influences: Sparklehorse, Teenage Fanclub, Super Furry Animals, The Flaming lips, Eels, The Beatles, The Smiths, The Beach Boys, The Charlatans, many many more...........
