Colin Bell

Colin was born and grew up in the sunny islands of Trinidad and Tobago (Caribbean). He has been playing music since he was 10 with his family around a beach fire. Colin likes acoustic rock and has many influences from U2 to a famous Trinidadian soca artist, Machel Montano. He loves to perform for an audience and says that an energetic sing-a-long crowd forms a major part of any successful gig...even if there are mistakes on stage! Why listen to his music? Simply to relate to a simple melodic tune that touches the heart and makes you sing along with understanding....

Influences: My first real influence was Led Zepplin (stairway) Yes, I am afraid that I fall into the "this is the first song I learnt on the guitar" bracket... U2 took me into a "dig deep down and bring it to the top" type music which is still with me today... Other than that, it is anything with soul...
