Acrylic Iqon are a 4 piece experimental rock band from Glasgow. They formed just under 2 years ago in March 2006. In November 2006 they won XFM Scotland's first very own Rockschool competition playing along side bands such as The Dykeenies, Biffy Clyro, The View and The Fratellis at XFM's Winter Wonderland Show in the Glasgow Academy in December. Iqon have played many venues around glasgow including: Box, Classic Grand, Oran Mor, Beat Club (Launch Night), Barfly, Maggie Mays, QMU, King Tuts. As well as sharing stages with the above, they have also played alongside great bands including, The Stone Gods, Drive-by Argument, Kobai, Brady Cole.
