Dear Acetate are an energised indie-rock four piece, influenced by the sounds of today and yesteryear. The band started rehearsing and song writing together early in 2006, and by the end of the year had already supported The Wonder Stuff at the 1000 capacity Aylesbury Civic. This was swiftly followed by a personal request from Embrace frontman Danny McNamara to play (as NME describe it) "super-hip new band night Another Music = Another Kitchen" for Danny's birthday and the Embrace end of year party, sharing the bill with Scouting For Girls. 2007 saw the band adding new material to their set, and playing further gigs across London and beyond. Having recorded their self-penned debut EP 'Rise of the Luddites' in the autumn of 2006, the band returned to the studio over the summer to record what promises to be an auspicious follow up, due for release in the spring.
