Dirty Little Thing - "Scream Until You Like It! Then Scream Some Fuckin' More!" In 2004, after years of jamming and around 10 name changes, Dirty Little Thing came to be (the name Dirty Little Thing came to exist after we stole it from a Velvet Revolver song). The band originally contained Karl King (bass), Phil Newland (guitar), Adam Rabbitts (drums) and Nick Davey (guitar). Karl then decided to quit bass and become a guitarist & adopt the name "Izzy" (after an early obsession with Izzy Stradlin' of Gn'R), leaving us with no bass and three guitars. Our bass player issue continued for the first few months until we found a permanent bassist...Colin Montgomerie. We began writing songs, influenced by all genres of music. Unfortunately, shortly after, we asked Colin to leave the band due to muscial and social differences. He was immediately replaced by an old school freind of ours Lewis Barker. Izzy had already had experiance in playin' with Lewis in a band, so it was only right that he should be chosen to Rock alongside us D.L.T.ers. After playing loads of small gigs and some big ones we decided it was time to find a studio to record some of our material. We chose White Leather studios in Headley as the destination to make rock history and cut our EP (Fuck Yeah). We recorded four tunes: "She" "Thats the Ways" "Time Takes Time" "I Got it Bad" These four songs Blasting out on the EP firstly named "The White Leather Sessions" Made A Pulsating Blast of Fresh, Pure, Rock & Fuckin' Roll! The EP was later named "Loose Connon" cause we got bored of "The White Leather Sessions". After we recorded we got straight into the job of putting ourselves out there...this proved to be more difficult than first thought as there wasn't much of a rock scene in the chav and emo infested town of moody Alton. However, after being turned down for Alton Live, the gigs started to pour in and suddenly we had a busy schedule ahead of us for the summer. This established us a large fan base, both in Alton and internationally(! Yes, we are quite big on the Boston scene funnily enough).
