ROOTICAL AFRO SOUNDZ ! LINEUP: Baptista Tsinine - Chico Chilengue - Eloy Vasco - Simon Kamau - Felisberto J. Utui - Efraime Nhabomba - Filipe Acacio Mondlane - Apolinario E. Cassa (Nene) - Helder De Sousa Tsinine - Lurdes Alberto Penicela - Cifa Matlombe - Amelia Alberto Penicela - Edson Gopolane Utui - Andrew Rigg (Drue) - Joe Button Live performances have ranged from Womad and the African Centre London in 2003 with Anna Mudeka & with Kusanganisa at The Millenium Theatre in Colcester,Norwich Arts Centre and The Waterfront; to backyard jams in Aeroporto B ghetto in Mozambique! The sound is Mozambiquan folk with Zimbabwean Mbira mixed with live band, West African djembe and Western European influences. We are interested in meeting Musicians, and are into recording, travel and satellite/internet radio stations..
