The story begins in early '07, when Philly, Klaus and Ryno forged the sounds and created something magical and special. Their first gig came at a LoveMusicHateRacism event in Liverpool. Juicy arrived soon after to add new dimensions to the music and thus created the real birth of the band. With John The Killer taking his place as bassist in the tenth month, the four minds evolved the cohesion and more gigs followed, bringing with them a wave of excitement in all who witnessed them. With a unique and embracing sound, the band's "... exuberant, infectious take on life..." excited audiences in performances across the city, in venues such as the Zanzibar, Korova, Barfly and Carling Academy. The sheer power of Ryno on drums, the mesmerising bass-hooks of John The Killer, the searingly delicious axemanship of Juicy and the soulful, emotive vocals of Philly Delphia combine with mesmerising tales of honesty, anger, love, destitution and desperation, to take audiences into states of mind they never knew existed... "The hottest thing on eight legs right now. They’ve got soaring harmonies, killer hooks and melodies that’ll stick in your head all day. Once encountered, you just cannot escape from their infectious, exuberant take on life that is 100% Nu-Scouse, and 100% brilliant! These lads are riding the Cultural Wave, as Liverpool remembers what an amazingly important place it is in the global music scene, and gives us a taste of the next North Western music revolution, that’s just around the corner… Elevaters are just waiting to take the charts by storm, with Pieces, from the first bars of that delicious jangly guitar. Coupled with Phil's emotive vocals, this band will simply lift you to a better place!" JADE WRIGHT Liverpool Echo "Some bands you listen to and think, 'I'll nip down to a club and listen to them.' Others you think of when are they playing outdoor festivals. The Elevaters play big music, music that is calling out for the big stages - for the guitars to reach out and drag the sun back as it sets over a field of thousands. Catch them while you can before Ticketmaster catches on." TONY Liverpool Bands Friends Website "I like Elevaters, they're real, y'know? They're not mathematical. It got glued back together, I got home about 4am." TOM MERRITT Local producer "The storm has come and the Elevaters have the umbrellas." ALEXANDER SCOTT Musician
