Based in Ipswich UK, TFC were formed at the start of 2003. Things have moved fairly quickly with the first live show in July 2003 and recording in September of that year. There is some history to it all, following membership of outfits such as Elmerhassel, Chocolate & Big Ray over the last ten years or so, our four fit and able crime fighters got together to make the world of music a more inspiring place to live. Obviously it helps that they knew each other previously, exude immense talent and that each and everyone of them is able to deliver sufficient sarcasm to keep the other three in check... The music is best left undescribed, but that wouldn't make for interesting reading, so how about 'Music for punk types that grew up and learnt how to be sensitive' ... no? Well it didn't mean much to me either, but it's intelligent Pop music with some Punk ethics... saying that I think that's how New Wave started and we probably don't want to go there. The name originated from a love of super heroes, but coincidently shares the title of rather good www site (that appears to have disappeared at the time of writing). The reality is that the band know as much about Sheep Farming in the Falklands as they do Crime Fighting, but now I'm finding fault.
Influences: Death Cab for Cutie; The Cockney Rejects; Stiff Little Fingers, Yoh Lah Tang; Built to Spill; Nada Surf
