Written in the mid 1980's, a song about my old job working as a hospital porter; my pension; the Union; my co-workers and my complete and utter detachment from it all. Inspired by reading "One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest." An ex-colleague remarked then how my song reminded him of a poem called "The Reluctant Sparrow."
