Harmonic Motion

Harmonic Motion formed the line-up of today in 2005, after early, not-particularly-successful attempts to write slow indie music minus a drummer. Since those glorious days, we have been writing steadily, and have begun to forge a style of foot-tapping rock, led by grooving piano lines and rocking guitar playing, basically making music based on vintage and contemporary rock, with elements of jazz, funk, and alternative thrown in. Things really kicked off this year, with the recording of a 4-track EP "The Zoo" at a studio in our native, leafy Surrey. Another CD's load of new tunes has been written since then, and you can hear the latest studio demos of them here. Although we attend different Universities, we gig during holidays, and are slowly making headway, being offered bigger and better gigs, and playing some local festivals.
