a nesting box puzzle metaphor in music. the core of this song is one of my simplest; a standard hip-hop beat with a repeating, simplified harmonic bone. the interest comes from the variations, color, and approach in each measure. the same with the mystery that confronts us all: the truth is simple and plain; but its variations, and the way we approach it, make for a stunning complexity.
