Chris Swinney is a singer/songwriter from the north of England. He has released three pop/rock CDs. His official website is: http://www.chrisswinney.com Like many others, Chris became hooked on The Beatles in his early teens and used The Beatles Complete Songbook as his guitar tutor. Around the age of sixteen he began gigging at local pubs and clubs, mainly performing covers of songs by bands like The Beatles, The Eagles and Lindisfarne. At this point he was a solo artist and, although he played guitar and sang in a few bands, most of them never went beyond the rehearsal stage. Around 1984, Chris bought his first multi-track recorder - a Tascam Porta one - and set about recording his own songs. Beyond this point, Chris has rarely performed live and instead has concentrated on learning the ins and outs of studio production and refining his skills as a songwriter.
