Born in London 2nd October 1987, B.A.D MC standing for Born After Dark MC had a difficult childhood with his mother passing away to cancer at 6 years old and his father dying before he was born. He moved to Birmingham 26th January 1996. Having Football as his main dream, he never seen music as an option until he was freestyling in the last year of Secondary School in front of some friends who found him funny. After a few weeks of hearing different tracks, friends encouraged him to do something more in terms of rapping. At 1st he never took it seriously but after making a few mixtape tracks using famous instrumentals, he seen he had a little talent there. So he carried on making tracks until he had his 1st unofficial mixtape album "Money, Power, Respect". Friends and family started to like a few tracks and would sing them back to him sometimes. He felt that this could be a turn of direction in terms of a dream. When he was freestyling he used the name MC Inferno but after taking it more seriously he changed his name to Born After Dark MC because he wanted it to relate to his birth, also he was born after the sky was dark which is where the idea came from. So after advice and opinions from his 2 real older brothers he was advised to avoid talking about sex, drugs & violence in his tracks like most famous rappers. So he made his 2nd unofficial album "Welcome To My Life", where he mainly talked about his childhood, past experiences, life in Birmingham and relationships. This album was herd by alot of new friends in College and had quite alot of positive feedback. So he carried on making more unofficial mixtape albums which included "The Development" an album where he was showing development and also gettin recording studio experience in which he recorded 4 tracks. One of which was a smash hit "Forget Me Remix Featuring Akon & Layzie Bone out of Bone Thugs N Harmony. In this track he had mastered a fantastic flow, rhythm & lyrical delivery. It was from this point that everyone who heard his music was convinced he had alot of potential and could go all the way. After this he continued with his next album "The Rise To Fame" which included 2 very emotional tracks "Momma Know You Cared For Me" which he dedicated to his passed away mother and also "If u Was Here" dedicated to his passed away father with some strong lyrical content. More albums to follow included "The CO-OP Mixtape" & "The CO-OP Mixtape Part 2" these included some fantastic CO-Operation remixes e.g. "Low Remix" which was the great smash hit from Flo-Rida & T-Pain and has received over 20,000 views on youtube. After this he made a greatest hits mixtape "Rhyme Till I Die" which was also his tag line. This included remixes with his foster brother "Ace" also his 1st ever collaboration with a local MC "Killah Thug". Tracks such as "Lollipop" by Lil Wayne, "Make Love In This Club" by Usher Featuring Young Jeezy, "Make It Rain" by fat Joe Featuring Lil Wayne, "Nice" by Chris Brown Featuring The Game and also the smash hit "Superstar" by Lupe Fiasco were all remixed. After this he started to produce his own beats and tracks. He started working towards his 1st official mixtape "The Grand Entrance" which he had been in the recording studio "Word On Road Studios" with experienced sound engineer "JBubbs" to record for release last year. The album consists of 20 tracks even though he had only 13-14 tracks originally planned but had local unsigned artists and friends record a few with him, which he has now added to the collection. The mixtape consists of different genres of music, which is what makes it so unique and interesting. This includes Hip Hop, R&B, Garage, Rap & Grime. In this mixtape he aims to show other rappers and MC's that there is a positive way of producing music and also a way to make tracks with out the constant lyrics of sex, drugs & violence. He is now working on 2 mixtape albums at the same time. One free for his fans and music followers, which are called “Unreleased”, and one, which will be his 2nd Official Mixtape Album, called "Darkness". Competing in nationwide music competitions, he had gained stage performance experience and confidence to bring a new element to Hip Hop. He does not intend stopping for no one. So watch out for his name being mentioned on your TV set soon.
