ARTIST Introduce Your Icon

Introduce Your Icon

Introduce Your Icon formed in 2006, in Petersfield Hampshire. Made up of three school friends, the band set about writing their own material immediatley. After many name changes, endless amounts of abandoned material and constant practice, they eventually fell upon the sound they were looking for. The fusion of relentless pace, soaring vocal melodies and explosive riffs, creating a truley memorable musical experience. Having found thier feet, IYI spent a day at the 'Dug Out Studios' in Southsea, culminating in a fresh 20 minute EP, aptly named 'The Dug Out Demo.' Where other bands might have stumbled at the stage of recording, IYI overcame this hurdle and then began to concentrate on thier already intense live show. Playing memorable shows in the Portsmouth area, and spreading thier wings as far afield as Brighton, IYI are steadily building momentum and improving constantly with every experience they encounter. At the age of 16, who could say what the future holds for this talented group of musicians? Lock up your daughters, here comes IYI.
