ARTIST Priya Jamble
Well i am from Melbourne in Australia. I am currently having a pit stop in Scotland after working in Singapore for almost 3 years. I studied Music at University and am now a teacher of the subject. My passion in life is for songwriting although one never finds enough time to indulge. Singing and Piano playing for me is a form of relaxation and an escape from reality. I am very lucky to have the ability. I guess you could say my ambition in life is to write songs and have others perform them......but for now i'll just have to sing them myself.
Influences: It all started with Tori Amos many many years go. Her lyrics vary from the norm hit home with me. Its not all about storytelling, its also about creating thoughts that make you think and come up with your own story behind the lyrics. From there many have pushed and pulled me in differing directions. Pop groups with no soul are not for me i am sorry to say!!!!!!
