TUNE Play New York, New York by Jessi Robertson
A good friend of mine, Michael Kenneth, helped me produce this song. We recorded my portion (guitar, vocals) live to a click track and then Michael worked his magic. The sirens are real by the way. They were screaming outside his Upper East Side apartment/studio at just the right moment. When I got to New York, I remember the culture shock, the wide-eyed wonder of it all. She taught me so many lessons, she saved my soul, and she made me fall in love.
