ARTIST Kodiak Jack
Bio
Kodiak Jack are a hard rocking 5 piece from Portsmouth, who have been said to "sound like Soundgarden, Velvet Revolver and Pearl Jam having a fight". Huge Melodies, anthemic hooks and punishing guitars make Kodiak Jack one of the most rocking outfits on the south coast. Having already supported Red Light Company and Animal Kingdom who crashed into the scene last year (and have been tipped by many Radio1 presenters to be the bands of 09) they have also gained radio play and are fast gaining support in the local area. Their debut single "THEM" will be released via Angry Badger Records in the next few weeks as a 3 track CD single. “THEM” is a thumping rock nugget, boasting huge hooks and an even bigger sing-a-long chorus all of which are making this a firm live favourite and current set closer. very good, like a cross between nickelbak and pantera, crossfire critique...drum sound is muffled cant hear cymbals properly, I would increase the treble on most tracks and get the bass sound more HEAVY. greta song, could have been even longer for me. you have real potential. Are you doing any gigs in the north of england in the near future? j
