Pianist, composer, arranger and occasional singer based in London, England. The album 'ascendant' is a piano and chamber string led collaboration with eight other singers from a variety of musical backgrounds. It is a dark, subtle and complex set of songs, with different genres (rock, jazz, folk etc) permeating the classical framework.
The lyrical focus is on memory, time, loss and mystery. Each of the nine songs is preceded by a rearranged fragment taken from one of the others and these knit the album into a more or less continuous sequence. Being taken out of context, the versions on this website are just the songs themselves without these intro/links.
