We are City Of Glass. Officially formed in 2004 the band have gone through a number of line-up changes (some unfortunate, some enforced) finally resulting in the solid line up today of Deeaay Harrison (singer, guitarist, song writer, obsessive compulsive Phil Spector lite-leader), Philip Mower (guitarist, keyboards, producer, put upon brother of Deeaay) Dominic Jordan (enigmatic guitarist and bass player, hiding a secret lifestyle; mute), Ben Drury (Scarred guitarist; Blonde Adonis, tall) and recently Mike Sutcliffe (deceptively tall, incredibly strong, guitarist) Formed by Deeaay and Phil band have released 4 albums in two years (freely distributed) around Hull, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester etc (over 3000 copies self financed and produced). The music has generated along with Internet sites and downloads a strong underground following. Playing self-coined and unashamed "city pop" the bands albums reflect the central ethos of the new eclectric. Featuring electro punk and skewed alt country to screwed-up indie pop and busted hip-hop to classic pop hooks and blackly comic vignettes.
