In 1977 a small vessel was being pursued by an Imperial cruiser through an unknown galaxy, above the atmosphere of a primitive planet named Earth.. The cargo on that small vessel was a band of Jedi Rebels and musicians known as Rebel Bass, an Intergalatic rap band on the way to their next gig when they were forced to shuttle from their doomed ship and land on the shores of the Detroit river. Rebel Bass consists of three main members, Prince Darth Paul, OG-3PO and DJ Imperial, with a fourth sometime active member Tough Skin Raider, who serves as the bands mascot and comic foil. Darth, OG and DJ Imperial are from a town called Mos Eisley on Tattooine, a dangerous, rough and well diverse city, much like their adoptive Detroit. All three at one time or another served the Dark side's ruler the Emperor, who is like "The Man" on earth, oppressing, keeping down and discouraging unity, freedom and love. After being turned on to the positive side of the force by Obi Wan Kenobi and studying and converting to Jediism under the guidance of the Honorable Yoda, the three took their fighting and musical skills and took to the cause of the rebellion and rocking the house for all who want to listen to the truth. Unfortunately, all three were punished in a near death battle with several Siths sent by the Emperor after their "betrayal" and were hideously disfigured forcing them to be dependent on their former dark side, life support apparel. With the knowledge of a Universe more vast than any human can understand and years of wisdom (in Earth years Rebel Bass are close to 700 years old!), Rebel Bass has decided to make earth their home and teach people the ways of the force before the Evil Empire reaches this side of the galaxy and Rebel funk is repressed. So keep Hip-Hopping and remember the Force!
