(ARTIST Örjan Strandberg
Bio
I once founded the prog rock band Dice which was active between 1973- 1980. Since then I've been a fulltime composer, making music for all sorts of events; films, commercials, exhibits, laser shows, pyro d:o's, computer games, horse competitions(!) etc etc. I mostly enjoy telling stories and setting moods through music. In effect that means I make instrumental orchestral music.
Influences
I like music from the 70's by Yes, ELP, Gentle Giant, Zappa, Queen, Godley&Creme. I also enjoy film scores by John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Bernard Hermann, Danny Elfman, Sean Callery, Thomas Newman & others. Among contemporary acts I like Mika, Advent and many others I can't come to think of at this moment.
