It’s no exaggeration to say that Hovercraft Pirates, after recording their EP in March, only months ago, are now storming the world. Having played recently at the Hell Festival in Norway (thanks to amazingtunes.com) with Snoop Dogg, they landed a slot in between famous metallers Dimmu Borgir and punks Turbonegro on the Friday night. Their first gig was even in the Nerve Centre in Derry, one of N.Irelands bigger venues and having played in festivals, even down south, they are setting their sights further ahead..

Their EP that is now available on itunes and online at cdbaby.com is being independently released in stores in the US, Australia and Asia next month and is giving them worldwide popularity. They have just finished an interview with Skratch magazine in California, they’re music opens the first scenes to the new snowmobile film `vertical ascent` by 509 films from LA and they have hit over 10,000 plays on myspace in just a few months.

More gigs and more fans keep appearing and Hovercraft Pirates, in their first few months of having an E.P. to show off have been getting more places than most bands do in a year, receiving more and more recognition, a huge number of hits on their websites and not one bad word said about any of their shows. They work hard. They play hard. It never stops and people can see it for themselves quite easily.
