I am a 30 year old singer/songwriter. I have lived in Peterborough, UK all my life, apart from 4 years in London as a student. I have always loved music. At the age of 7, I gave my first solo vocal performance, from then it was only a matter of time until a guitar was added to my act, I have since added drums, bass and piano (albeit badly). At the age of 13, my first band was a punk originals band. Since then, I have had the pleasure of playing with a number of bands, covering musical styles from Jazz to Ska to Heavy Rock! Rock 'n' Roll Andy has been around for 12 years. He was christened during my second week at University. In the first week, I found out that there was an acoustic 'unplugged' night held weekly, in the student union. That first week I turned up with my Peavey amp and Distortion pedal and proceeded with a set of Rock covers. When I went back the next week I was introduced to the stage as Rock 'n' Roll Andy and the rest is history. So currently I am writing some new material and performing, twice a week in Peterborough and once a month in London. I thought it was probably about time to unleash my music on the unsuspecting internet population who may not yet have had the chance to witness the Rock 'n' Roll Andy show!
