(Musically, "Benedict" (and Rumours of Whores of the single sums up the band's sound), disappears into the vast and cavernous wall of electronic dance, 15 seconds into the sound file. So unless the entire lyrics is restored and cranked up, all I hear is a casiotone beatbox with a 4/4 beat and the words "dirty old man" whispered loud in what sounds like a refrain. The rest could be backward masking for all I know, but I didn't hear anything that had to do with dislike of religion, much less anything X-rated. What up?
TUNE Play Benedict by Rumours Of Whores
Rumours Of Whores dislike organised religion, and feel that moral systems have no place in a world where a system of ethics needs no god to keep tab of who's been naughty and who's been nice. Ratzinger gets on everyone's nerves, but ROW's in particular. We cut the x-rated verse from Benedict; it was bitchy enough without the extra blasphemy.
