ARTIST Scott Spalding

I was never really into music as a kid, the only music I really enjoyed listening to as a youngster in the 80's was that of Michael Jackson & Queen (the latter coming from parents who liked them). As I was given my first Guitar for Christmas at the age of 11, I gradually started listening to the golden oldies of the 60's & 70's and started playing along to them ( I didnt really know the modern music from my childhood at the time as I was busy doing other things except listening to music). Originally trained on classical guitar I started listening to classical music from the age of 12/13 when I started getting lessons. I then started listening to the likes of The Shadows, Beatles, Greenday, Guns N Roses and Iron Maiden for many years before discovering the likes of System of a Down, Metallica, Pantera. I thoroughly love the sound of an acoustic guitar whilst enjoying thrashing on the electric too and have many favourite songs from the above bands that take my love of these great sounds and turn them into soul-touching songs. I have had a wide range of influences over the years I have been playing the guitar, and they don't stop. I love so many different sounds from many genres that I can't recall at this moment any kind of music I dislike. I thoroughly enjoy performing and would like to make a career out of it. Soon I will be recording more and better songs to be added to the site so please check back.
