Svelteboy was born in Chester ages ago and since then has been writing and recording songs on his own and sometimes with other people.The aim of these songs is to be uplifting or at least interesting for the listener and to give them a joyful melodious groove right in their ears.
Influences: The biggest influence on the music of svelteboy is dodgy,because they have already mastered the putting of perfect grooves right in the ears. Other influences include:funkadelic,wilco,the stone roses, bob marley, james, the boo radleys, out of my hair, stina nordenstam, goldfrapp, the beatles, the orb, diana ross and the supremes, the detroit emeralds, the mammas and papas, the small faces, Tricky, the supernaturals and loads more.
