North East based Indie/Punk/Rock outfit, formed in February 2006 - somewhat coinciding with the consumption of alcoholic beverages... started as a three piece playing songs about trimming Sylvia Armstrong's bush - not what you think! A shifty looking hitchhiker picked up in Washington turned out to be a drummer and was forced to join SWEETCHUCK. Rehearsing at 'Base HQ' in Newcastle, keen on local gigs, so get in touch if you are in a local band looking for gigshares/support! Not interested in fame and fortune - playing music and having a good time is all that matters!

Influences: Aside from beer and Scotch Whiskey: The Libertines, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Fugazi, Ramones, Oasis, The Beatles, Radiohead, Blur, Supergrass, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Moldy Peaches, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead.... and many many more.
