"The Honest Johns were around (firstly) between 1986 to 1990. During that time the band recorded some of the finest indie-pop tunes ever, but only released one 12" (Tell Me About Your Childhood) before they split up in the early 90's. Meteor 1986/90 contains 12 wonderful recordings...most of them unreleased until today! The band is best known for their amazing classic, Judas In Me Singing, which was first heard on The Sound Of Leamington Spa II compilation. Happily, The Honest Johns reformed a couple of years ago."
