The Halcyon Glow


The Halcyon Glow is a rock band based in London. Nominally filed under "progressive with post-rock leanings" due to a fondness for windswept solos and an inability to be succinct, the style in fact varies from song to song depending on what everyone thinks sounds good.

First mooted in late 2000 by five freshers at Durham University, the band finally became a reality in 2004, via disagreements, personnel changes and procrastination. The current line-up of three founding members has recently completed a new demo, and regular gigs are planned from October 2007.

Traditionally a four-piece, we are open to the addition of an extra guitarist and/or bassist in the London area. Contact details can be found on our website:
