once you hear this song you will have it in your head all day .You catch yourself blurting out the chorus, very fun song love it
This is the third song from "Make Me Fly Again" (2007). Its a breezy and positive "going out" song with a left-of-centre feel good factor, simply capturing the vibes of a warm spring night out partying, and the apparently endless night that can ensue when all the right elements are in place. Musically, it twins elements of feel-good Richard Thompson with The Who's "substitute" to some degree, while the bridge's guitar figure reminds me of early cure, not sure why exactly. I love this song and all it stands for. The phrase "I'm full of dust and guitars" comes from an interview pink floyd's one-time leader Syd Barrett conducted - his last - when his career was all-but-over. I thought it was an excellent way of describing creative inertia and a collector's love of the stringed instrument of rock in one. Originally I used it in another song written from the late Syd's perspective. Compare/contrast to: I want to see the Bright Lights Tonight (Richard and Linda Thompson), Mint Car (the Cure).
